Mango Season and you can see Mangoes practically everywhere!

And i gotten myself 7 mangoes!

3 mangoes give to cy.

So bigggg!

I saw similar mangoes in Sheng Shiong and they call it the Mango King!

Excess in Mangoes.

So i decided to bake a mango cake, using the recipe of the banana cake.

The banana cake i baked!

I was thinking whether can substitute Bananas with Mangoes and whether the recipe will go well.

I searched on google and yahoo but couldn’t really find an answer.

Then i asked bevvv, since she provided me with the banana cake recipe, whether i shld try the mango cake.

then she say try liao tell me!

haha, then i think, okay lor, mango is so nice, so the cake shldn’t be tat bad right!?

so i went ahead to experiment with it.

My mangoes not ripe yet, so i went NTUC buy those thailand mangoes.

Haha.

Cubed them.

Okay la not really cubes i know …

Mashed and mixed with butter.

Smells nice :D

TURN OUT, the mango taste was like kinda GONE!

Lol, it was still fragrant before baking.

Now i guess why ppl dont bake mango cakes, they put raw mangoes on sponge cakes and dont BAKE them.

Hahah.

Nevermind at least i learnt something and the cake is not inedible also wat!

It just taste like a simple cake with a some mango cubes on top.

Thanks to the vanilla essence.

This was my supper last night.

Lol!

Wanted to cut another giant china pear de.

But thought it was too much.

And good news is, last 2 weeks when i went to the gym and weight myself

Im actually 59.3506283.

Okay forget about the decimals!

Im 59KG!

Rmb when i was a trainee in the army, i once hit 59KG also, cause i was like quite fit and was exercising and eating well.

My dream weight is 63KG and i have never break the 60KG mark.

And i hope very soon, i can hit the 60KG+ mark!
