went to NTUC Fairprice @ Sun Plaza to do my shopping for ingredients for my 3 dishes lunch!
my mum went to work parttime today, so she told me to settle my own lunch.
invited cy over for this meal.
i ‘ve baked countless time but never in my life did i cook a proper many dish meal for a lunch/dinner, at most was a spaghetti meal or some one-course meal.
the stuffs i bought today.
all dishes are self-invented de!
only the 丝瓜炒蛋 i got consult my mum how to cook.
my mum teach me the 丝瓜 must choose those young ones or it will taste very hard.
the sharp edges on the 丝瓜 must be packed together, then like this is the young ones.
for the chicken wings i used vegetarian oyster sauce, sesame oil, soy sauce dark soy sauce to marinate them.
The AFTER is EMPTY lor, except for the super sour green apple.

Prawn Salad :
cy - Not bad. But should substitute mayonnaise with thousand island sauce.
myself – i cant take salads/cold dishes, i realised after trying this dish! (cy was telling me that it was okay and i shld eat more!)
丝瓜炒蛋 :
cy – like what my mum always cooks (which is gd already!), but alittle too watery and not salty enough.
myself - taste exactly like what my mum cooks too!
my mum likes it watery cause like this 好下饭 and my mum also add only a pinch of salt to the dish.
I’m actually quite amazed that i can settle the 丝瓜 part!
Pan-fried Chicken Wings :
cy - The overall best dish! But would be better if spices were added! ( shld’ve added some pepper to taste)
myself – Nice! The marinate was not too salty or bland and he skin is crispy and the lemon peels added some freshness to it.
Generally, its a first multiple dish meal that i cooked for myself and i managed to do it all by myself in 1hr 30mins and all dishes are cooked without any recipes in hand!
Next round i gonna try one-course meal again, but this time round, soup + rice those kind, you know~ 煲汤!
