we are going to the zoo zoo zoo, how about you you you ..
today i went to the zoo, after like nearly 10years.
i rmb my last visit was during my secondary sch days when me and roland(my church friend then) didnt know where to go and we decided to visit the zoo!
took bus no.138 at near neesoon camp there.
it was a 15mins trip.
nice view of seletar reservoir on the way there.
nice fountain that first greeted us when we entered the zoo~
hippo! these are those smaller species of hippos. forgot their names ~_~.
wonder where the big hippos i knew went!?
land rover!
lol. i thought we can only see such signs in australia, bev! we see it here in sg too. haha.
yea theres really kangaroos here k ...
first stop was to find the white tigers! sr loves them lol.
btw, that little boy in yellow is sr's gf's lil brother :)
ROARS!!!!!!!!
the white tiger is damn beautiful la. a particular white tiger was walking around the edges of the stone cliff, as thou all the visitors on the other side are pieces of raw meat hanging there waiting for him.
sad thing is they are highly endangered and there are only a few thousand of them left on earth.

some of the smaller animals. so cute la the one with its hand hanging in the air. they like to put their hands there and observe around them.
just like my hamster!
snakes! ekkks. the black one is the black-spitting cobra which will attack by spitting poison up to 2metres onto your eyes.
the python is damn fat la.
its body is about the size of my thigh -__-
it was getting quite dark and was drizzling and there were thunders every now n then.
then we saw something reddish out of the dark treetops.
its the ass of this monkeys!
haha, their privates are also pinkish in colour :P
nono, we are not in the bird park.
jackass! lol.

beautiful seletar reservoir.
i got to see alot of such views when i was having my exercise in the western area of singapore.
you can see hills and big lakes and it really doesnt look like your in singapore!
i forgot that was a leopard, cheetah or jaguar. lol. think its a leopard.
the way of differentiation is on their spots, i read vividly about that when we were rushing thru as the zoo is closing as early as 6pm! :(
giant turtles! they are about 65-70 years old. they were on earth even before my parents.
orangutans! man of the jungle!

you can take photos with them, but at a cost of $5 per person. if six people is taking together, you need to pay $30! oh my.
could see that a tourist with his family was quite shock to hear that it will cost $30!

polar bears! poor thing, hes got bad fur :(
llamas. looks bald as compared to bev ones in aussie. lol. maybe becoz of sg hotter weather.

this rhino was so rude man!
the very first present he gave me was his POO POO!
we got the direct front view of his POO POO cming out from his asshole.
omg, im eating my duck rice and here im blogging about POO POO! -__-
the rhino trunks are just made of a mass of hair. so there is no medicinal value to it. so stop poaching them!
i realised that lots of animals in the zoo likes to use their butts to face us whenever we wanna take pictures!
zebras are the worst, none of them gave me face

you can practically touch it as we are walkingin the fragile forest section or whatever you call it.
can get really close to it lor. sf even managed to touch it. haha.

floating there on the water surface. didnt know the look so unglam underneath the waters.
they got this fish sharing the same pond as the crocs. wonder why they wont eat them up.
wth!?

do you know that all you need is a thick rubberband to tie around the crocs jaws to stop them from bitting?
they have the world's most powerful bitting jaw power but they are weaklings when they come to lifting their jaws.
alligators. they have pointed mouth. unlike crocs.
weird turtle.
looks like those war turtles you see in games.
sf's long-long-brother.

guess what?
zebra corssing. literally zebra crossing!
lol. this butterfly walk thingy sr's gf was still laughing saying, "call what butterfly walk, all the butter "fly" away already"
we saw not even a single butterfly there -_-.
not even those common yellow butterflies that you can see in your neighbourhood gardens.
plastic caterpillars were all we saw at "butterfly walk".
lol. sr looked so funny here.
got more funny jumping shots. but most of them are with sr's gf cam.

after that it was very soon 6:15pm already.
we left the zoo and we took quite sometimes to finally decide to have our dinner at pizza hut amk.
all of us was so hungry by then!
very nice drumlets from pizza hut!
pepperroni regular pan pizza.
sf call it bak kua pizza.
the crisp is damn nice la.
the different variety of cheese is so so so nice. so are the sausages.
kids meal.
was staring into blanks when sr's gf snapped this shot.
the ice-cream included in the kids meal.
cute, but its all melted when it reached out table! -_-
after dinner, i went straight home as sr and sr'f gf still got other things on at night.
i feel that blogging have become more of a chore to me than a pleasure now.
gonna find back the initial feeling that started me blogging.
ARGH.
