oh my god.

just came back from the SOC UFP a.k.a Unit Fitness Program.

was tiring, especially after the field camp, with my already aching arms, but it was useful!

think running with your boots on is the best training for SOC.

on the way back, i went to mcdonalds to get myself their new recipe breakfast set; mcgriddles, to reward myself.

but much to my disappointment, it didnt taste nice at all!

the bread is sweet, coupled with the saltish sausage and egg.
its like eating your hotcakes with thick maple syrups + sausage + eggs.

i simply hateed it!

in the end i only pick out the sausage + eggs.
threw away the rest.

very much regretted trying the mcgriddles, shld've gotten the usual sausage mc muffins.

>_<

i guess many people around me shld know that. lol. this 2 was the blogpost that i posted before and during my trip to taiwan last year, CNY period.

i was damn excited for the trip la.

that time i was working at maybank and there are also quite a number of taiwan fans there.

so we exchanged maps and places that we must visit and food that we must taste!

kk let me blog about my most memorable night at taiwan.

its nothing VERY special but memories of that night kept coming back to me :(

we were at taipei 西门町.

the plan was to try out the very famous ah zhong mee sua and the rest was on our own.

the beautiful streets of xi men ding!

this ah zhong mee sua, as mentioned by the tour guide is a must-have when you come to xi men ding. and true enough, its was flooded with people!

you can see diff groups of people, holding on to their hot bowl of mee sua, with pig's big intestine as the main ingredient standing, squating, sitting all around the stalls as theres no seats catered.

after you finish your mee sua, you just dump the bowl in a big bin and done! express way of eating the mee sua. lol.

i think xi men ding is the best place to shop in taipei, its like singapore's bugis street but the road there are much more wider and the weather is much more cooler there!

ah ma selling strawberries coated with a layer of those type of yellowish sugar casting.

a sweet and crispy surface with a juicy strawberry inside. nice!!!

a interesting shop. no idea what they sell also.

half way blogging and i just realised i didnt blog about my taiwan trip last year.

i merely posted a link to my photo album, which is now down, stupid wretch.cc

arh~ this is the best part. after all the shopping, we were tired and was heading back to our hotel.

our hotel is just a 10mins walk from xi men ding?

its damn convenient la!

and the most amazing thing is around my hotel, if i were to stand at the crossroad. i can simple spot like three to four 7-11 and 1 more local convenience shop.

and i still rmb one of them was playing jay chou's qian li zhi wai when i was inside there buying their taiwanese magazine.

opposite our hotel was this shop selling 卤味. it was already 10pm+ and it was drizzling, coupled with the already cold weather at taiwan, the best way to end the night was to have a hot bowl of 卤味!

50cents for a big tau kua. nice nice!
they got a large variety of pig's parts for you to choose.(hmm pig's parts sounds wrong)

they have lots of pig intestines, which i like it a lot! but theirs seems to have a bite of 腥味.

heres some tips. whenever you watch taiwanese variety show, do you have problem trying to figure out how much TWD = SGD.

maybe you know its divided by 20.
let say 200TWD = 10SGD.

heres a easy way by me, just deduct a zero, and then divide the amount by two, whichever comes first doesnt matter.

meaning, 350TWD, deduct a zero, becomes 35, divide by 2, you get 17.50SGD.

easy!?

i dunno if you guys have problem changing TWD to SGD but i guess it will be useful for some who dont know right?

some noodles to go with the 卤味

this was my 战利品 for that day.

the jeans is 代言by xiao zhu.

the little booklet is a "spot the difference" book, where there are 2 pictures and you have to find the 5 different parts, just like my favourite arcade game, photo hunt. i got that from 7-11.

that was our hotel room, i think its a 3 star hotel, but the location is good enough!

i rmb looking out of the window, we can see a black and dark alley which i guess nobody dares to walk through.

but so what, the room is confortable enough and its so convenient!

Okay to end the post.

my 2 favourite taiwanese song, okay, maybe just chinese songs which i super like and i listen to alot when i was in taiwan.

《花样少年少女》main theme.

A rather emo song from 《转角遇到爱》.
