after duty on saturday morning, went home to use my lappy, got some nap and went down to town to meet with my army mates.


went over to fareast to grab a bite.

sf's 肉松蛋卷 from士林小吃. it was not bad. the floss and the wrap complements each other.

my 蚝仔面线。they only have 3 pathetic oysters inside :(
and sf took 2 of the fatter ones. argh!



went to SHOW, which is a fashion shop opened by luozhixiang. saw alot of taiwanese there. could hear from their accents. they all look cool.

reminds me of my trip to taiwan last year :(

sometimes i really want to just live in taiwan for a few months, either for studies or work.
short stays or a vacation there is just simply not enough!

i wanna experience true taiwanese life there~

nvm, i shall wait and see if i ever get a chance to do that ...



after shopping at fareast for awhile. we went on to Aston's Specialties! yes. yet again! i reconmended this restaurant in my blog . alvin also went back there ytd to celebrate his friend's birthday.

his one came last because the waiter told him that his steak got burnt!? wtf. lol first time i hear a waiter telling a customer such things. but its okay, at least it shows their service is gd and they bother to explain to us automatically.

good service yet no extra service charge.

im loving Aston Specialties.

my medium rare prime ribeye, no extra cuts. i was busy taking the photo of this medium rare sign and i forgot all about taking my own set meal's pic!

i thought i ordered medium done steak? hmm nvm. it still taste nice!


total bill add up to 80bucks. mine cost 19bucks. had mushroom soup set, IBC rootbeer and prime ribeye.

went on to shop around at the cathay.

maybe you guys will find this familier if u frequent the cathay.

TADA!!! isnt it nice?? i love this wallpaper.

i had to extend the left and right limit so that the wallpaper will not look distorted when placed on my blog. was such a tedious job trying to create the left limit as the original picture didnt have anything for me to copy and paste.


was bored and so i took out my potato camera and took pictures again!

do you guys have difficulty asking your friends to take pictures with you?
haha i do have it with some of my secondary sch friends.

they always say that im 自恋 and stuffs or that im too obsessed with blogging lol.

we then went on to marina square to shop awhile and to esplanade to get a slightly better view of the fireworks and fighter planes later on.



finally, after bearing with the drizzle for quite a while. the planes are finally out flying.

it was a stunt performance to speed through each other really fast.

could see i the bottom left pic that both planes was practically aligned into one already.

got bored while waiting for the fireworks and again, photos!

didnt post many fireworks pic. only choosed few of the better ones.

this year's fireworks was quite screwed up.
the smoke from the fireworks started to build up and the wind was not strong enough to eliminate the smoke emitted and thus, after like the first few shoots of the firworks, we are practically seeing smokes covering all our view of the fireworks.

got a really early bday present. earliest bday present i've ever gotten. lol.

went to raffles city basement to have some late dinner.
got myself cookies and cream from donut factory.

no pictures! coz my hands was filled the creams from the donut.

donut factory's donuts are still my favourite!
the donut empire ones from nearby my house really sucks, feels like im eating bread when i eat their donuts.

hmmph!



left cityhall at ard 11pm and had to rush back to sembawang to meet up with my secondary clique and change to something more cooling.

the initial plan was to meet at 1130pm at mcdonalds. but everyone except mengyeow was late and only by around 1215am did everyone arrive. lol.

i reached at around 1150pm.


then we slowly stroll our way to sembawang shopping centre area where the 24hrs shop houses eating place are!

although its like a 15mins walk from the mrt station.(nvm also coz its very cooling to walk at night and also for us to digest our supper on the way back) we still like to have our supper here!

everytime i visit this place i try to order something different. at least not always prata, prata la.

mengyeow went on to try their cheese prata!


haha before i knew it, mengyeow already started eating his prata. i quickly stopped him and took a pic of his prata before he finish them up :(

my favourite! they have their own sauce and its slightly spicy and sourish. love their noodles.
i think its indian style fried mee!


cy and alvin shared a paper thosai as they were both rather full and just wanted something light.

i tried their paper thosai and it was cripsy like biscuit. they have maple syrup spread on them. not bad not bad.

i wonder how they manage to fry / bake or do what to them to make them so crispy and nice-looking!

singapore is really a fantastic place to live in. we get to try all types of cuisines from malays to indians to chinese to western to korean to japanese bla bla!

they always make them to be thick and milky.

finished my noodles and had nothing to do. so i started snapping pictures!

alvin was so funny la. he posed nicely for me to take a picture of him. so unlike him who always whine at me to be always cam whoring.

guess whats his reason.

and his logic was to be in his best form since he cant stop me from blogging. lol.

then this afternoon, uploaded all the pics and then slowly proceeded to write my entries at evening time.

i gonna prepare some more posts for my 3 weeks in thailand in september!
