finally im back from the long break.
recovered almost fully from my illness the previous bookout.
just a blocked-nose and a phlegmy throat left.
what i did during this slightly-longer-break?
hmm. morning, or rather, noon, woke up for a short conditioning run ard the neighbourhood.
its a new route tat im trying out, 3km route tat i've calculated thru the PDA from my OPS.
sad thing is tat it was really a tiring run. my nose was full of mucus and i cant breathe properly and the ops really made us physically weaker :(
i need a tan badly. the last tanning session was unsuccessfuly and im so sickly-white looking now! argh. no time for tanning, no time for movies, no time for shopping and chilling at home.
kk i shld whine less and lets continue. after the run, went to buy choco chips tat ill need for my Cookies :))
ohh btw sr's GF, heres the
recipe :)
my cookies :D
nice-looking right? haha.
the 1st batch i didnt space out the cookies enough and they joined together and become one lump of cookie! lol. den i made smaller size cookies and slowly improve by batches.
this was like... the 3rd batch?
2nd batch i didnt bake long enough and the size was slightly too big also therefore the center of the cookie was abit soft.
generally the cookie is a bit too sweet and butterish(some like the rich butter smell while some think will get sick). although i already added less sugar than wat the recipe stated. However! i think its really nice! could smell the aroma when i open the container of cookies.
gonna improve on the recipe, add less sugar and butter and maybe do some other flavourings too. maybe coffee, or peanutbutter next time?
in the evening went to bugis for dinner with camp mates. argh. was quite late due to the cookies baking. sorry guys :(
met up at bugis street and went to ajisen for dinner.
the ramen was okay only. but the side dishes are the main highlights. haha. i ordered softshell crab coz i had it the previous time when i dine with lily at ajisen and it was nice! was really full after the meal and we shopped ard at bugis junction and bugis street.
and we went into a sony shop as sr's gf and jess wanted to look at digicams.
den we were browsing and argh. i rmb i was still surfing sony's website looking at 2 models of sony digicams tat i so wanna buy!
Sony Cybershot DSC-T70Sony Cybershot DSC-T2sr's GF bought the T2 thru installment of about $50bucks per mth for 12mths.
omg. so envious!
fiddled with the newly bought T2 and it was fun!
except tat some of the buttons are too small, hard to press them ~_~. generally i like the feel of the camera!
i like the classy and simple look. plus i test-run them at the shop.
there was some sample cameras on display and trial. you can take super fast pics lor.
if ur hands are shaky, you can still take clear pics. not SOOOO shaky thou.
argh. im loving sony cameras. i hate the potatoe tat im having now. so bulky. only good thing is the twistable screen.
must control myself! my wishlist is gonna explode. + my parents will surely whine at me if i get a new cam coz the potatoe at my house is still alive and kicking.
went home and watched
稀游记2 replay by belinda on chU.
its really a v.meaningful n a emotional show.
it portrayed human emotions all on TV. singaporeans living in another country, fighting for their own living and at the same time, struggling with their homesickness.
especially when they showed a scene of how stella, a singaporean mother of 4 living in brazil. was really missing her mum's home-made chili and pineapple tarts. and when the show production grp delivered those stuffs that she really missed alot. she broked out and cried and she hugged onto tightly, a ice-cream tupperware filled with pineapple tarts, and the love from her mum. you could see it was all hard and true feelings.
its a v.simple yet,
很有内容。and im mesmerized by the host and also the way the show is produced. too bad i cant watch every episodes due to my commitments to SAF. i cant find them on youtube/tudou also. sadddd.
its damn late now. gonna book in tml morning. cya on sat.
