Pulau Bukom Trip!

As scheduled, woke up at 8am+ and met up with kl at sembawang mrt and took the train all the way down to tiong bahru to buy some fresh baits from NTUC.

Lazy to talk too much in this post, will let the photos do the job.

It started to rain.

Then it started pouring.

Finally reached Pasir Panjang Ferry Station.

We brought lots of stuffs with us!

Unlike at Singapore, it wasn’t raining here in Bukom!

That’s the island’s restaurant area.

The whole island is surrounded by this type of fences.

On board are trucks loaded with rubbish-like stuffs, think they are rubbish exported from Bukom.

The dark clouds gathering at Singapore main island, could see lightning striking singapore occasionally.

Then a uncle saw that we were going fishing and wanted to join us!

Hes a pro, was telling us about his past experiences.

He even helped me to tie some lines on the spot!

PRO! Tie so fast…

Haha.

Walked for around 400metres and we reached the fishing jetty!

It’s damn spacious can!

And best thing, we got the key to unlock the gate and there’s nobody on the jetty except us!

And there’s a shelter too!

yb was damn lucky !!

Beginner’s luck, the uncle gave them some handlines to play with and very very soon, they got their first catch!

Like in just 5mins!?

And it’s quite a good size one!

Think it’s called Diamond fish.

The uncle say its another type of pomfret.

I got a mini grouper quite long after!

Really lor, groupers like to dash into stones i think.

I got the bite and i thought sangkot, then i let the lines run a while and then quickly retreievd it back and the fish got reeled in!

My wish for a grouper is fufiled, but i want a adult size one!

Soon after, i was in a spree, got a stupid fugly looking eel!

The uncle say the eel will make your lines and hooks smell of it and fishes are afraid of them, so he quickly unhooked them and threw it back into the sea.

Irritating creature!

Kaili was looking at it for a loong time like she’s gonna keep it as a pet.

Very soon, the sky turned dark le, no new catches in between

Finally left bukom at around 8pm+, managed to catch the ferry that was about to leave!

Phew, i suggested going IKEA for dinner, long time never eat their meatballs liao!
