The movie was not bad!

I love the graphics, the drawings, as usual, 宫崎骏 drawings are always so fascinating.

Love the way the japanese paint their drawings, always so colourful.

Both Ponyo and Sosuke are so kawaii!

If you watched before Howl’s Moving Castle and Spirited Away and you love them, them i guess you’ll love this one too.

But i agree with a reviewer that the story lack of a nemesis makes the movie less exciting.

And he even commented that 宫崎骏 is passed his peak :(

Went to have lunch at the Ah Mei Cafe in the middle of AMK Hub.

Always see a lot of people queuing for their Nasi Briyani and decided to give it a try.

Their rice so little only lor, for like $5.50 and additional rice will cost you $1.50.



Here comes the interesting part, a family, with a infant, left his key on the table next to us.

Then the new occupants of the table was saying they will probably come back for it so they just leave it there.

Cause we were about to leave by then, so we decided to comb the entire floor to look for the family.

Then true enough, we found them at one end of the same storey and told them they left their keys on the table, and they went “Ohhhhhh!” and quickly went back to get their key.

The mother smiled at us as they rushed off.

Feels happy to be able to help others find their stuffs :)



Today’s met-up was fun, never in the whole outing did we ran out of topic.

And i found out cy’s china trip is so similar to mine and we went to many of the same “scheming shops” such as the pearl, silk, 同仁堂 and teapot shops.

All are so similar!!! All out to cheat our money! We both realized that they really have their ways in getting us to spend money on those stuffs that they recommend.

We went to the arcade too and played Taiko and the stupid sweet machine which makes people addicted!

I saw a bunch of biscuits stucked at the entrance and so i gave it a try.

Then i managed to push all the biscuits down but the opening already closed by then!

So i had to put in another 1 dollar coin to open the gate and its a 100% that i’ll get those biscuits la.

So spent 2 dollars on a pumpkin biscuit and some cheapo sweets :(
and screams and laughters when we saw the gate closed when my biscuits finally dropped!


I guess meeting up with 1 or 2 friends instead of a big group is sometimes not bad too as the friend will have all your attention and time and thus makes the whole event more engaging.

Okay gonna book in tonight, its a sad thing.

Just booked out this morning from guard duty.

Next week seems like a busy week.

Things to clear before my ORD,
CO parade, handing over OPs parade, ORD parade, FFIs, HIV screening, battalion lives, guard duty, battalion coastal cleaning, and not forgetting extra jobs that i’ll be getting from my PS.

ARGH, why are we still so busy when we are only 30+ days to our ORD date?

God, end my torment.
