had my virgin attempt on baking pineapple tarts last week.

okay, jl was telling me not to use “virgin” this word as it sounds wrong.

lol.

today, after researching quite some time for a new recipe.

i finally decided on using bev’s recipe as she had a detailed guide + pictorial recipe on her blog!


so i followed exactly every step except that i made tarts instant of the cacoons.

cause i already bought the cookie cutters and i dont wanna waste them :X

firstly, cut cut cut.

i can feel the texture is more yolky and fragrant than my last recipe from wokkingmum.blogspot.com (which was a complete failure cause every response was BAD)

my mum putting the pineapple paste on the tarts that i cut out.

and the taste and texture was nice nice!

i like la.

the moment i had my first tart i knew it was the right recipe.

i didnt have to chew the tarts, i just have to apple some pressure with my tongue and everything can be swallowed down my throat.


my brother complaint that its too oily.

but i think the taste was very nice liao lor.

only bad thing is the appearance, it looks kinda pale.

dunno why o.o

my mum also keep asking, “为什么白白的 huh?”



haha.

but i still deem this as a very successful attempt!
