went night cycling with cy today!

was super bored in the afternoon and asked cy out for movie.

but she suggested accompanying her to go SSC(sembawang shopping centre) to buy herself a bike.

i was like “ OMG, you are buying a bike? ”

my “OMG” was a positive one cause it means the sembawang clique has 1 more person who owns a bike and it means more night cycling outings!


she wanted to find a bike in GIANT, but it got sold out.

so we went to the CHEAP JOHN BIKE SHOP(what a shop name. lol.) beside SSC to find bikes.

i finally had a haircut at SSC, after procrastinating for soooo longggg, i had no choice to have a haircut today as tml is CNY eve already!



after she gotten her bike, we went down to chongpang city!

they have really nice lightings and decorations over there!

as we were still quite full, we decided to cycle to northpoint to have our dinner, so that we can burn more calories before we have our dinner.

had our dinner at this Japanese Foodcourt, where every stall in it sells japanese food.

the ramen stall was featured in the 都是大发现2 TV program last week.

so we decded to give it a try :)


the “ house special ”
cost $6.90 not very cheap for a foodcourt.

look at the piping hot smoke coming from the bowl of ramen!

the ramen was normal tasting and its not handmade, but machine made, so the ramen was not really worth it, i feel.

btw if you guys dunno where the Japanese Foodcourt is located, it's at the new Northpoint Wing, near the topfloors.


we were eating half way and i thought, why not we catch a movie?

i checked the timing using M1 Explorer for “ The Wedding Game ”

and the next time slot was 9:30PM, 30minutes more for us to finish our ramen, just nice!

the movie was not that nice.

the whole movie was all scenes of chris lee and fann wong cuddling and caressing each other.

oops, sorry for the usage of words but like almost more than half of the scenes, chris lee is seen half-naked in the movie.

the movie had lots of local elements. i spotted a total of 6 languages in this movie, hokkien, cantonese, english, mandarin, melayu and japanese, like rojak like this.

and during the wedding photo taking scenes, the bridal dress/fashion that fann wong was wearing all resembles those from SEX AND THE CITY MOVIE where Sarah Jessica Parker wore during her VOGUE magazine photo shoot.

the story plot also lacks sophistication.

everything which we expected, turn out expected.

not that recommending to watch :(

but i must agree fann wong and chris lee look really gorgeous in the movie.


after the movie, cy complaint that she’s feeling sleepy already and that she never tried cycling at such late hours before.

so we straight away headed home.

on our way back, we passed by chongpang again.

there was a large tentage area where lots of 年花 are sold.

i couldn’t resist and took lots of pictures of them :X

they were so colourful!

i took this shot when cy came out from the tentage area and there was this guy that wanted to appear in this photo also.

and when i checked the photo, he was looking at the camera lor.

after taking lots of photos of the decorations along chong pang city, we were about to start cycling when i suddenly receieved a SMS.

OMG.

like this also can!

i shouted for cy to stop and i showed her this sms.

she went “ OMG! told you not to take photos already, see la kenna spotted, lol! like this also can get spotted?! ”


after much laughter on this incident,

we cycled to the 老地方 to have supper.

1 gosong and 1 egg.

1 cold teh tarik

with cy’s face as the backdrop.

lol.

the prata and teh tarik today wasn’t that tasty.

prata was hard and cold.

teh tarik was like drinking diluted sweet milk.

disappointed.



after the supper, we finally cycled all the way back home.

went to cy’s block to help her lock her newly bought bike under her block as she has to hide her bike from her family as she didnt tell her family that shes buying a bike~!

she specially bought 2 locks, 1 to lock the rear wheels and the other to lock the main body, front wheel and attach them to the metal railings.

was a fun and eventful night, despite a super boring afternoon!

gonna organise a night cycling outing for the sembawang clique soon!~
