double movie. (spoiler alert)


watched “Beverly Hills Chihuahua” today with sf and zs.

before the movie, met up with sf to try out the delifrance buffet breakfast at TPY library.

got up at 8am so that we will be able to catch the breakfast lor.

the breads there was limited and was okay only … nothing spectacular.

my favourite was the scrambled eggs, sausages and ham :X


the movie was not bad.

the doggies inside the movie were all super cute la. didnt really liked chihuahuas until this movie.
yea, and also the fierce looking but lovely german shepherd, delgado in the movie.

but it does looks abit weird that dogs can speak human language.

generally, its worth my 10bucks and i think the best selling point of this movie would be the super cutey doggies :P

after the movie, met up with sr and sr’s gf.

strolled around orchard as usual. went to buy my friend’s bday gift at heeren and continued to wander about orchard road(its like the 32942892times wandering rather aimlessly in town)

had dinner at yoshinoya.
actual plan was to visit changi village for its desserts(recommended by sf) but as there isn’t any straight bus routes from town to changi village, we gave up the idea and decided to stay in orchard.

zs left earlier to meet up with his odac friends for some potluck party thingy.

we got super bored window shopping so we decided to catch another movie.

so we watched “Quantum Of Solace”

the movie was $%^&*()*&^%$#$%^&.

one of the worst james bond movie ever.

not that im a fan of james bond movie … but recently i just watched the retelecast of the james bond series on Channel 5 and i thought it was like far better than this one.

personally, i think the choice for james bond for this series, daniel craig, is a wrong choice!
i think hes not that good-looking as compared to the previous ones and he looks like a gay muscular ah peh to me in this movie la.

he also gives me the evilish feeling, you know, those typical bad guy face.

DON’T YOU AGREE???

Really lor, he doesnt give me the James Bond feel at all, he feels like a sinister killer agent to me.

talking abt the movie, i fell asleep quite a few times in the early-mid part of the movie.

the movie was filled with dialogues and it gets damn boring and monotonous whenever they start having conversations.
Its like they are having some corporate meetings and you can barely understand half of their conversation.

I think the scriptwriter really has a serious problem here.

And for the fighting scenes, they simply used too much of those shaky camera effects and you can see this scene in this second and at the other second, the director brings you to totally another part of the scenes which makes me want to vomit and i totally cant figure out where the hell james bond is going and who the hell he's chasing and whether he's winning his enemy or that he’s got thrashed terribly.

At the last part of the movie, James Bond can shoot some canister with his pistol and explode the lump of wall beside him to allow him and his partner to escape and not get himself hurt?

They were in the midst of a burning and near collapsing building and they can escape untouched. Like, WTH?

I think this movie should be categorized as those super heroes movies, together with Superman, Ironman, Batman and The Hulk and not just some simple action movie.

I totally regret watching this, would rather watch “Madagascar 2 - Escape To Africa”.
