OKAY. FINALLY IM BACK FROM THAILAND!!

i have alot to say and blog about but ... the sad thing is i have to filter out some sensitive military stuffs which i cannot mention here :(

and it happens to be a big chunk of my whole 19days in thailand.

maybe ill start with the 1 day E-TOUR(aka educational tour) we had.

it took us nearly 2hours to reach our destionation. a elephant and crocodile zoo.

there was lots of crocodiles in the zoo and they were seperated into different age groups.
we went to the 20-70 years old area and there was like a bunch of them!

just like this pic! ( i took this picture from the web)

we can pay 10-20 bahts to buy the chicken meat to feed them and to see the ferocious side of them. i was wondering if i ever trip over the fences, ill most probably be ripped into pieces.

the elephants there are damn cute! never in my life did i ever got so upclosed with elephants. we can touch, interact and take pictures with them and all you need to do is donate some amount of money to them. one of the elephant even left some of his mucus on my right foot.

when we were taking pictures, as i was sitted on a stool, one of the smaller elephant was squashing me with its chin rested on my shoulders. lol. he was so heavy la!

the elephants are really so cute la.

and theres also monkeys inside the zoo and one of them even held onto my hands when i tried to let him touch my hands. the feeling was just like a baby human being clutching onto your hands! argh~

oh ya, E-TOUR aside. i forgot to mention we also went on a CIP trip and only 6 people who volunteered had the chance to go.

it was really a different different experience. i must say. if i ever miss this CIP, i think i've missed out alot, seriously.

although we didnt do much(we handed gifts, sweets and light sticks to the children aged 7-12 and played games with them) and it was only a half a day event. i felt that it was a meaningful thing to do.
because kids in thailand appreciate little little things that you do to help them and they looked really satisfied and happy even if you give them a small little sweet.
they will always put their palms together and do the sawadee action to thank you for the gifts.

initially they were rather shy and didnt quite dare to interact with us but after the games, we could see that they are really having fun. we played 老鹰抓小鸡, three legged race, hopping in a trash bag and soccer with them.

the only regretful thing was that we were not able to communicate much with the kids as they cant really speak english and one girl was trying to tell me something in thai but i could only tell her " sorry i dont understand :( "

*all the pictures posted are taken from the web

okay if i were to blog about every single event that took place in my trip in thailand i guess ill probably die blogging.

this EXERCISE CLAYMORE in thailand was like a test for us or for those whos in the army, its our ETEP 2. Its our last big exercise before we ORD next year Feb.

and the happy thing was we got REDCON 1 for our evalution exercise.
REDCON 1 is the highest grade la ;D
theres 1, 2a, 2b, 3 and i think 4?

so everyone was happy during the last few days in thailand after our results was announced.
I guess its also the reason why we need to only book in on next wednesday night!

OUR WELL-DESERVED REWARDS :D

lastly, i just got some pictures from mingwei which we took at changi airport before we flew to thailand. (took alot of pictures in thailand but its all with my other army mates cameras, i didnt bring my potato camera.)

with mingwei.

with norman, our anchorage comnd.

they are gonna ORD real real soon! mingwei in nov and norman in dec. so guess wont be seeing them so often in camp already coz they will be clearing OFF and LEAVES.

okay gonna end my post here.
