movie tickets!

i keep all the old movie tickets in this little strepsils box.

i always make it a point to keep the tickets after every movie so that the next time when i open the box. ill know that, oh, i've watched this movie when, where and vividly remember watching it with who also.


when did i start this hobby. Hmm.


When i went to grab the ticket stacked at the lowest part. I picked out this ticket. I tot it was Nov 2004. Which is about 4 years ago. Hmm.




Then i took the 2nd last ticket and saw the HOME RUN ticket, which i watched on 2003's national day. Which is like 5 years ago!?




Lol.

Guess in between, i didnt manage to have the full records of movies that i've watched.

Dark Knight + RED CLIFF.







Watched "Dark Knight" for $6 again during one of our camp nights out. Thats the 3rd time i watched a $6 movie at cathay.
Just pay by NETS at any cathay cineplexes during weekday's any hour and enjoy $6 tickets :D(correct me if im wrong )

Okay, back to the movie. (SPOILER ALERT)

Its really a blockbuster of the year.

Many people loves the JOKER in the movie.
I guess for me its a love-hate relationship.

I love his intelligence and perseverence.
But at the same time i hate his ugly appearance, his crazy ideas and his lonely life.

I think in this movie, the joker seems to be too god-like.
It seems to be more versatile than the BATMAN or the dark knight.
The way he demolish the whole Gotham General Hospital bla bla.

Shall not be a spoiler. Will not elaborate too much.

Although he lost the bet with Gotham City. He was very much in control throughout the show.

There was alot of twists and turns in the show and many enjoy this twist turn but some might find them abit too messy.

Overall, its a superhero movie that emphasize more on its script, the story-line than on pure actions and effects.

A side note, i also didnt manage to point out where exactly did edison chen appear on the movie. Many say that he appeared only for 3 secs during the "No handphones allowed" scenes in HK.

watched "Red Cliff 赤壁 today." people always hear the 赤壁 as 自闭. which made it sounds damn funny. (SPOILER ALERT)

Hmm didnt really like the movie that much.
It was a okay-so-so movie only.

Alvin and lily was saying that why did they call the movie Red Cliff when they haven even started the fight at Red Cliff. Okay maybe they are keeping it for the 2nd part of the movie which is coming up months after.
But the ending was abit too abrupt, as responded by many.

I do enjoy the war music and the way the actors portrays the historic characters. Love their occasional jokes too. Lin chiling is a real beauty, like her voice too.
I like Zhao Wei's character quite alot as i think she never fails to bring about laughter to the cinema whenever she appears into the scene. And also she gives a little bit of feminism to the battlefield and also the overall movie to make it less boring.

Thought that some scenes was abit draggy. The last battle with the 2000 soldiers had all the generals coming out one by one which was abit redundant.
And also the　古筝　playing part was also too draggy that i nearly fell asleep.

Oh yea must talk about this.
There was a couple of china people seated behind me in the cinema. No offence to china people or what. But this group, or let say this women was speaking so loudly, with her strong local accent and aggitated voice, i think 2 rows infront of me can hear what she was speaking when the movie is in complete silent.

You know when the movie is playing, you tend to try to whisper to your friends? But she doesnt. She speaks as loudly as ever to his male friend, with her super strong accent.

" 刘备~~~... #￥%…*—*！（！…#！%#
周瑜~~~... #￥%…*—*！（！…#！%# "

And all i can hear the reply from his male friend was " Umm."
Thank god her friend is not like him.

At some part of the movie she got too loud and i had to slight look back at her to make her realise than shes speaking too loud. And she likes to repeat what the subtitles writes, like to attempt to spoilt what is coming up next in the movie. For those who watched the movie, she guessed that the person playing the flute was 小乔 , which in the end turn out to be a normal village kid.
Yea and she likes to laugh at scenes where no one else in the cinemas finds it funny.

im ranting too much again.

Okay, im still waiting for PART 2 of the movie and for the meantime ill give it a temporary rating.
