went for the rock climbing course at yishun safra on sunday. was terrible coz the rain wouldn't stop! but the instructors(weizhong and chew) was nice and we learnt alot of things abt rock climbing :)

haha after our lunch was practical! it was only drizzling so the instructors allowed us to climb on the outdoor walls. me and xx paired up coz i dun wanna die yet(if fangwei belays me!). we tied the 8-figure knot and setup the belay system and started climbing! but we only climb like 1-2storey high coz the walls were so slippery!

later on the rain got too heavy and the instructors brought us to this very cool indoor bouldering(like rockclimbing but u climb sideways and there's no belay system). its filled with cushions reminds me of those playgrounds in shopping malls where there are plastic balls for kids to swim in. haha the place is so colourful a! you can climb almost everywhere on the walls, and the ceillings.

And here comes our assessment test! haha all the climbers looked so tensed when we heard this word "test". me and xx was the first pair to get tested, i was the first to climb! i climb the wall, rather short, just 1storey or lesser? and we tied the 8-figure knots and belayed each other. Everything was so smooth! me and xx are really talented. hahaha. its so fun la. after that ly and alvin climbed and den fangwei.

in the end, the instructor passed all of us :) haha we are now all certified climbers, although im still quite not convinced that fangwei can belay ppl O_O;;

anyway we got 2 free climbs and im very looking forward to the next 1!! haha!
