Recently read somewhere about this hermit crabs!
At first... i always remember hermit crabs as just little plain shell fishes and surely its boring to keep as a pet.
I remember once i went malaysia's seashore to pick seashels.. den 2 out of the shells i've picked has actually hermit crabs inhibited in them!!..
Then i brought them home.. but they died soon after as i don't know what to feed them >_<

Look at these shells... so colourful and cute.. These hermit crabs will actually "ban jia" (changes shells) occasionally as and when they like it. When they grow bigger, you have to buy a bigger shell for them =D Isn't that cute!! These crabs are kept in those normal tanks and no air pump is required, just some crab food water and some little stuffs to make a cosy home for them! (eg fake plastic coconut trees and more variety of shells!)
No wonder people actually keep them as pets... hehe..
